The Inside Scoop on Me
I’m brand new to blogging, so I hope you’ll all bear with me. I like recipes, I like cats, I LOVE the Internet and occasionally like to vent or rant about something in my life. So, you may be seeing quite an array of different kinds of articles from me while I’m here. Please be sure to give me feedback, what I’m doing wrong, what I’m doing right, what could I do to make something more interesting or appealing. I’m all ears (or would that be eyes?)
As for me, personally, I’ve been divorced for 19 years, 3 weeks (as of 12/7), have two grown children, three grandchildren, care for my mother who will be 92 in three days, have two cats (one who is 22 and one who is 9), and have been unemployed since February. I would love to telecommute, but so would so many others that I doubt it will be a reality for me.
I like to read, surf the ‘Net, participate in discussion boards and a couple of social networking sites, send and receive email, defend the underdog, and periodically get on my soapbox to expound on whatever topic has moved me to voice an opinion - usually a social or political issue of one type or another.
Feel free to tell me if there’s anything else you want to know. I won’t guarantee an answer because there are some things that are simply MY business and MY business only, but for the most part, I’m open.
